  • Victory 🏆: Arsenal secure a dominant 2-0 win over Burnley extending our lead at the top of the Premier League!

  • Lineup 📋: Raya, Timber, 🚘Saliba, Gabriel, 🇮🇹🐎Calafiori, 🍚Rice, Zubimendi, Eze, 🌶️Saka, 👓Trossard, Gyokeres. Arteta played the same xi from the last Premier League game!

  • Goals ⚽: Gyökeres with the final touch from a Rice corner and Gabriel header to break the deadlock, and 🍚Rice with a beautiful header from a counter-attack on a long throw from Burnely!

  • Defense 💪: Another clean sheet for the Gunners! Arsenal didn't concede a single shot on target against Burnley. Solid at the back!

  • Stats 📊: Arsenal have now won 24 of their last 25 Premier League games against promoted sides! Also, 8 goals from corners this season, the most ever by a team in their first 10 games of a Premier League campaign!

Highlight of the half for me was Burnley attempting two long throws, both being easily won by Gabriel, the second of which led to our second goal. You think set-pieces are your ally?

  • Saka 🌶️ & Trossard 👓: 🌶️Saka was denied by the Burnley keeper, and 👓Trossard's rebound was cleared off the line. Unlucky, but they kept pushing!

  • Performance: 🍚Rice with a fantastic performance, capped off with a brilliant header! Controlling the midfield and leading by example!

  • Injury 🤕: Gyökeres with a goal and a strong performance before being subbed due to a niggle after the first half. Zubimendi similarly was taken off due to a niggle.

  • Arteta 🗣️: Arteta praises the team's performance, especially in the first half. Focusing on continuous improvement!

  • Next Up 🗓️: Champions League action against Slavia Prague and then a Premier League clash against Sunderland! The Gunners keep marching on!
